ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 against its newer Seedance 2.5: same settings, different detail and price.

Seedance 2.0
Seedance 2.5

The short answer.

Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's newer video model, aimed at finer detail in faces, fabric and hair and at scenes where every frame has to hold up. In Aventada both have the same options: 480p to 1080p, 4 to 15 seconds, wide, vertical or square, sound always on.

The difference is the price: per second at 720p, Seedance 2.0 costs 25 credits and Seedance 2.5 39. Many people draft with 2.0, or 2.0 Fast, and render the final shot with 2.5.

Pick Seedance 2.0 if…

  • You make a lot of clips and the credit price matters.
